This unfinished engineered oak flooring is 18mm thick, made from 13mm Eucalyptus plywood underside that is bonded to a full 4mm French oak wear layer, which is itself a single strip 300mm wide. This shows off the extra width that is available when ordering from our engineered oak flooring products, especially with an extra wide board such as this one. Boards are 2200mm long. Our unfinished 300mm engineered oak flooring is suitable to be installed over under floor heating. Specifically when the correct acclimatisation, installation and maintenance guidelines are followed. Our full range of engineered boards do not have a softwood core, and instead are all backed by high quality plywood. This means they are strong enough to be fitted using any of the three common methods of gluing down, nailing down or floating.
